Like most photographers, I became interested in photography at an early age, looking through my dads camera whenever it was out at a family party or on a vacation. I remember thinking that the world looked really different and interesting when I looked at it through his camera. By the time I entered college, I really started catching the photo bug, and after receiving a new Canon 35mm freshman year, photography quickly became part of my identity. In New York City, I started working with lots of great and diverse photographers and soon developed my love of spontaneous, up-beat, lifestyle photography. I love shooting outdoors. I love shooting people. And I love all the diversity photography offers. Wheather it's models, real people, still life, kids, beauty... there is always something new to see and always a new way to capture it. My greatest inspirations now are my three children, Linc, 6 1/2 years, Penny, 4 1/2 years, and Iris, 2 1/2 years. Just put them on the beach where we live in Fairfield, CT, and it doesn't take long to come up with some amazing shots. |
